yes... weird that little pregnancy clicker on the top of my blog is still ticking away! I had to make it into a picture because it is so crazy how it started off ticking when I was not even 4 weeks pregnant and now I am 40 weeks pregnant!
Today was the due date, but obviously, Jayden is going to come on his own schedule! I thought for sure he would be either early or on time like his mommy and daddy are. haha Especially since I went in to false labor a few weeks ago... we just thought it would be any day after that! Also, my last two appointments have ended with my doctor saying, "Go ahead and schedule your next week appointment, but I don't think you will make it!"
As mentioned before, my doctor that I have seen throughout my pregnancy is on vacation this week. So today when Jared and I went to my 40 week appointment, I saw a different doctor. I really liked her a lot. Anyways... still 3 cm dilated, but she kept saying how ready I was with my "favorable cervix" haha. She scrapped my membranes. (that was the 3rd time!) I did get scheduled for Monday the 24th to be induced, IF he has not come before that time. She told us to go on a nice date night because she thinks he will be here very soon. She really doesn't think I will make it to the induction appointment on Monday. Yeah, yeah, we have heard that before so we aren't holding our breath! We did go on our nice date night, though. Panther Picnic at my school! :) LOL
Jared has been so good to me today. Well, he always is, but especially today. He worked a looong day yesterday then drove to Richmond early this morning to take me to my appointment, drove me back to Fredericksburg, took me out to lunch, WENT TO WORK WITH ME and helped me in my classroom, bought me a blizzard from Dairy Queen on the way home, THEN took me BACK TO SCHOOL for the panther picnic and stayed with me there for an hour!!!! Then I even got a BACK MASSAGE!!!!!!! WOW! That's love! haha
Everyone at my work can't believe I keep showing up. However, I do not want to start my maternity leave until Jayden comes! So I am overdue, really fat, covered in stretch marks, have swollen hurting feet, wobbling around working and waiting for this baby to come. Oh, and it was 100 degrees outside today and very humid. :)
At least there is light at the end of the tunnel now. So we continue to wait. And the pregnancy ticker on my blog continues to tick away. (I guess)

Haha AWW poor Cindy...well at least you will be rewarded for all your hard work with a beautiful baby!! That was nice of Jared give you some extra TLC! Men dont realize but little things mean the most! Cant wait to hear the good news in the next few days! :)

Jared was awfully sweet! I still can't believe he was in your room working--he's a keeper!! In the next 24 hours there will be baby Jayden--woo-hoo!!
