Barsanti Family Early Holidays 2012

It is really hard with retail schedule to have any time off at all around the holidays.  A couple years ago,  we started a "early holiday" tradition with Jared's side of the family where his family all comes to our house in November and we have a early Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration.

We had an awesome time!  Jayden (age3), Brandon (almost 3), and Andrew (age 5) had a BLAST

 together!  One of the days we rented a bouncy house for them to play in all day!

We had a very merry christmas!  :)  gosh, it is so neat seeing how excited kids get over presents!

Diaper Cake

This weekend I am going to a baby shower for my neighbor.  I decided to make a diaper cake for her gift.  This was my first attempt at making one.  In my previous post, I posted a video by Vanessa Lachey--it was a great video to watch as a guide.  Now, my diaper cake is definitely not that great, but it was my first time.  I could have re-done it and it would have gotten tighter, etc. but I wanted to get it done while Isabella was napping.  Sooooo....here it is!

Diaper Cake Must Watch Video

If you are going to a baby shower, a diaper cake is always a fun idea for a gift.  I remember my mom made me a diaper cake for my shower when I was  pregnant with jayden and I loved it!  Anyway, I had seen this video before and it came in handy this morning for me when I made a diaper cake for my neighbor.  =)

Fall Family Pictures

On October 21, 2012 we had some family pictures taken by a very talented photographer, Samantha Martin.  She is the same photographer who did my maternity pictures and Isabella's newborn pictures.  We got the CD last night with the images and we love them!!!  They turned out really good!  Enjoy!
