Jayden is sleeping, eating, peeing, pooping, crying, and making our hearts melt every time we look at him! :) He makes the sweetest noises and cutest faces and he is changing so much already!!!
I have to go back to work October 1st and even though that is 5 weeks away, it makes me cry just thinking about it. I love my job, but it is going to be so HARD to leave Jayden. I am just enjoying every minute I have with him. Tonight is my first night "on my own" because Jared has to go back to work tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be a smooth night!
Today Jared and I took Jayden for a weight check at the pediatrician. I am breastfeeding and I am not going to lie, it is not easy! It is going pretty well overall, but I am having to nurse every 2-3 hours. The doctor wanted us to bring Jayden back today just to make sure he is gaining weight. He is! He went from 7 pounds 3 ounces to 7 pounds 8 ounces! :)
I can't believe Jayden is one week old! He is such a cutie pie!

P.S. Norm came to visit today! He came to the hospital, but he did not get to meet Jayden in person because he was in the nursery at the time. (then he was out of town) So... today Jayden got to meet his Uncle Norm!
