Spring Time!

I realized it has been a little while since I have updated my blog! So, I went through my pictures and here ya go!

This was Jayden wearing a whole pack of stickers Nana sent him in his St. Patrick's Day card. Yes, a whole pack! haha He was excited about them.


Here is the greeting committee at the door when Jared gets home from work. Jayden and Fred run outside and I am always right there with Bella. Welcome home, Daddio!

Here is one of Jayden's paintings. He made this using the colors he picked out by himself and a paintbrush.

This is Isabella's first handprint art project- Spring flowers! (It is hard to get a 7 month old to hold hand flat for a handprint!) But, I love it and it is I think my favorite artwork yet! :)

Jayden had a playdate with his buddy Scutter. They are so cute together and have so much in common. They had a blast playing trains!

Isabella took her first nap this month in her crib! She sleeps in her crib every night, but has always taken every nap downstairs in the pack and play. She is so sweet....fell asleep with her left foot in the air...one sock on and one sock off! (and she is holding on to the pink elephant blankie.....she does not go to sleep without it!!!)

Fred...Fred...Fred...poor Fred. He is resting here....at the top of the stairs... Jayden accidentally closed the door on Fred's tail when he let him out to go potty. Ouch! Long story short, we noticed blood everywhere.....like allllll over the walls. We found out it was coming from Fred's tail....everytime he wagged his tail, blood was splattering everywhere! It.was.bad.

Dr. Jared cleaned it out really well and made his own bandage. It was a pain, but it is finally all better. The vet checked it out on Saturday to make sure it was all healed.

ST.PATRICK'S DAY!!! We did not do much that day....just hung around the house. We did get the kids' pictures with the holiday hat! =)

We visited Nana's Hair Salon and Jayden got a haircut!!! Thanks, Nana! It looks so much better!!!!

Hi Aunt Stacy!

Jared wanted to stop at Bass Pro Shop to spend his gift cards and get some new clothes! Jayden loved the big fish and kept wanting to go back to see them!

Thursday night, we met Jared's mom, Aunt Sherry, and Grandma Florence for dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

Jayden came to me and said, "Mommy give me money!" LOL

Jared, Jayden, and Grandma. Three generations.... too bad we were missing Isabella. She was strapped in carseat! We will see her again on Easter so I will get a picture then. :)

Grammie had two big bags full of stuff for us! Including this Mickey shirt and Thomas slippers for Jayden. He loves them!!! Thanks, Grammie!!!

Oh, and I found this adorable Easter egg Jayden made at daycare last year for Easter. I have it hanging up as a decoration! Look at him!!! So cute!

We had such a nice weekend this weekend. Jared was off and we did so much stuff as a family. We were also very productive and got a TON of stuff done! I love when Jared is off and home with us!!!

Tinkerbell

Jared and I have referred to Isabella as our little Tinkerbell pretty much since she was growing in my belly! We just thought it was a cute nickname because of her name...and just because who doesn't love Tinkerbell!?!?

The other day, Babies R Us had a bunch of long sleeve clothes on clearance. Jared found this Tinkerbell shirt for only $2.00! She wore it for the first time last night.... so as soon as she woke up this morning I snapped a few pictures of her! Just hanging out...waiting for her brother to wake up! =)

I know she is my baby, but I just think she is the cutest little thing in the world!!!!

Visiting Daddy at Work!

Last week, Stacy and I brought the kids up to Jared's Target to visit him at work. He was happy we surprised him! We got to hang out in his office for a little bit, then we went to Panera for lunch. It was fun! I took some pics of Jared and his office.

First Tooth Pictures!

Isabella wants her Nana to see her first tooth! So, we had a mini photo session! Bellas was very cooperative! She gave me three good smiles! Then we cropped to make them extra close! =)

Oh, and I forgot to mention in my previous post that Isabella's cute brown boots are from the Villagomez family! Thanks, Debbie! She has been wearing them a lot lately! =)

...and another thing I forgot when I was writing random things about Bella... we just started size 3 diapers. *tear* She is growing way.too.fast.

Isabella is SEVEN months old!

I can't even believe it! My little Tinkerbell is 7 months old!!! She is doing so great and getting so big! Two days ago, her first tooth started coming through. It is hard to see it in this picture, but if you look close enough, you can see it!


Today, she put on her cool shades. Jayden kept taking them off and trying to put them on himself...


This is Isabella's typical schedule these days:

7:15 AM wake up- she always wakes up HAPPY and smiling and cooing until we go get her!
7:30 4 oz bottle
7:45-8:45 play time...exersaucer, jumparoo, floor with toys or playmat (Jayden wakes up between 7:30 and 8:00)[
8:45 stage 1 fruit
9:00-9:30 cat nap - she is slowly stopping this cat nap time...
9:30-10:30 play time
10:30 4 oz bottle
11:00-1:00 ISH nap time (she sleeps anywhere from 1 to 2 hours)
*Jayden naps from 12:00-2:00 ish*
1:30 PM 4 oz bottle
1:45-2:30 play time
2:30-3:30 ISH nap time (she usually takes another nap for an hour-give or take)
3:30 stage 1 vegetable
3:45-4:3o play time
4:30 4 oz bottle
4:45-5:30 cat nap
5:30-6:00 play...usually she is playing in her bouncy chair or exersaucer while we make/eat dinner
6:00-7:00 bath time for Jayden and Isabella/ play upstairs
7:30 4 oz bottle after bath
7:45-8:15 play/night time stories
8:15 Jayden and Isabella go to bed

*Sometimes/ (many times) we feed Isabella another bottle between 8 and 8:30 right before she goes to bed...depending on when she had her previous bottle. As long as she eats her last bottle close to 8:00PM she is good for the night. She goes to her own bedroom and sleeps in her crib. We lay her down when she is sleepy, but awake. She uses her paci and her pink elephant blankie every time she falls asleep. We turn on her lullaby music and lights that shine on her ceiling...she watches that as she falls asleep. She has been doing really well at night....we went from going in 15 + times a night to now about 5....she SCREAMMMMS if she wakes up and needs her paci. But, as soon as we run in there, give her the paci, she goes immediately back to sleep. It's weird because she screams like that for her paci, but when she wakes up in the morning (7:00AM-ish) she is sooo happy....she just lays there and cooes and plays until we come in. And as soon as she sees us, she gets the biggest smile on her face and she is so happy!

Random things about Isabella: (in random order)
-she LOVES to take baths...splashes water and always happy in the tub!
-she is still taking medicine every day for her reflux.... Nexium...2 times a day...she is still a GI patient :)
-she recently had her first sickness....strep and ear infection YUCK!
-she is the only member of our family that is NOT allergic to penicillin! *Jared and I are both allergic to penicillin...and Jayden had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin when he was a baby...Isabella is taking amoxicillin and she has had no reaction! thank goodness! I was really nervous to have her take it with our family history, but the doctor told me that did not mean she would be allergic.....
-she just cut her first tooth (bottom left)
-she has really discovered her voice these days....makes sooo many noises!!
-she always pulls her socks off!!!!
-she kicks out of those button-up outfits.... to the point where I won't even buy them for her! Her PJs need to be zip up! haha
-she recently started sleeping on her side
-she continues to eat more and more foods...fruits and veggies :) she favors bananas and applesauce. she does NOT like peas or green beans- opposite of Jayden! he used to LOVE them! we keep trying though...she keeps on gagging
-she rolls all over the place.... and just yesterday she started almost scooting backwards! (not crawling, but she is mobile!)
-she went to Maymont Park and loved being outside and in stroller
-she got to sled in the snow!!!
-she got kicked out of the "Kid Zone" daycare at the gym--- yes, true story....she screamed too much---(another post about gym and that story later)
-she has a big brother who just adores her and loves her soooooo much!!!!!!!

That's about it for now....
