Happy Halloween!!!

It is pretty much a tradition for Stacy to come Trick-or-Treat with us every Halloween! We started it last year! haha

Anyways, today was Jayden's 3rd Halloween and Isabella's 1st Halloween! How fun! Jayden dressed up as Thomas the Train and Isabella was a little zebra! They were so cute! :)

Our Holiday started last night with some fun Halloween baking. I wanted to bake and decorate so I decided to make a bunch of cookies and cupcakes for Jared to take to his work. Stacy graciously wanted to help so we got to work! We had so much fun. So we decided to make this another new tradition! haha

They turned out awesome... we think! :)









Here are some pictures from trick-or-treating... Bella was not too sure about this when I first put it on her! (not really-she was just really tired and not happy!)



Jayden was so excited and did awesome! He went up to houses and said, "Trick or treat!" and "Thank you!"

i love my kids!

I just want to say that I LOVE my kids so much. I love being a stay-at-home mom and being with my kids all day every day! I love taking care of Isabella and dressing her up in girly clothes and fun headbands with big flowers! I love holding her and rocking her to sleep. I love when she smiles and laughs at me. I love going into Jayden's room to get him in the morning and seeing him with a huge smile on his face saying, "Mommy, Let's read!" (he keeps books in bed with him and loves to "read!") I love chasing Jayden around the house, reading books with him, doing puzzles with him, and watching him learn and grow each day! I love being a mommy! Even if I don't get to take a shower until Jared gets home from work, or I don't get out of the house much, or I am sleep deprived, I would not change a single thing about my life. I am very blessed and so thankful for the life God has given me. I have the greatest husband and family and I feel so grateful for that. I am going to enjoy every minute that I have and not take anything for granted.

Fall and Pumpkins

Fall is seriously my favorite time of the year. I love when the weather gets cooler, the leaves change color, the air feels more crisp, and it is the start of my three favorite months of the year... OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, and DECEMBER! There are certain things I love about every season and every month of the year, but one of the things I love most about October is the PUMPKIN PATCH!!!

We have an awesome farm near us called Belvedere Plantation. It is more than just a pumpkin patch... there is so much to do! We have been every year since we have lived in Fredericksburg. This year, we decided to get season passes. It might sound silly to have a season pass to a pumpkin patch, but like I mentioned before, it is more than just a pumpkin patch! It is a huge farm with so much to do and a lot of different animals to see. We also like the fact that Jayden can run around, be outside, and we can push Bellakins around in the stroller and if she cries, it is not going to bother other people because we are outside! Or if it gets to be too much, we can leave and not feel like we wasted any money because we can come and go as we please with our season passes!!!

We have already gotten our money's worth because we have gone twice. We went once as a family and once with Stacy and my parents babysat Bella. Jayden loves it! He had a blast both times. He enjoyed the tractors, hayride, animals, pig races, and all the pumpkins!
