Trick or Treat - Dragon Boy

This weekend, we went shopping on the search for a Halloween costume for Jayden. Nana and Aunt Stacy went with us. We found Old Navy to have the best selection and we pretty much narrowed it down to a hamburger (which was sooo funny!) and a dragon. We decided to go with the dragon. He is going to be so cute tick-or-treating this year! ha! :)

I can't say Jayden has never had a boo boo... he is such a boy... rough and tough all the time! He has fallen many times on his head. Today, though, was Jayden's first scraped knee. He fell on the sidewalk at daycare when they were walking to or from playing outside when he fell. Poor guy... his first boo boo on the knee. Of course, I took pictures so we can always remember his scraped knee.



Ouch!

P-Fresh

Last week was an exciting week for Jared at his store. His Target opened what they call P-fresh, which is fresh grocery. They now have meats, produce, basically everything a Super Target has except a deli and bakery. It is pretty awesome! Jared and his team got to cut a red ribbon on opening day. :) I love Target.

Way Overdue Blog

Everyday I wake up and say to myself, "I really need to blog today." I feel terrible that I have not even blogged about Jayden turning ONE last month... and now here he is almost 13 months old!

He is the cutest, sweetest one year old.... He is walking all over the place, gives great hugs and kisses, and is just such a blessing. He had a great first birthday. We had a Sesame Street/Elmo birthday party. Thank you to everyone who made it to Fredericksburg to help make Jayden's day so special.





Jayden is in the toddler room at daycare doing very well. He only has one bottle a day (at night) and the rest of the time he drinks whole milk or water from his cup. He is growing so fast!

He went to the doctor this week for his 12 month check and he weighs 22 lbs. 3 ozs. (50%) and his 31.5 in. long (70%). He is an excellent sleeper- the toddler room wears him out I guess because he goes to bed around 7 PM and sleeps until almost 7 AM. On days he does not go to daycare he goes to bed closer to 8 or 8:30 and sleeps until about 7. Jayden is wearing size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes. He loves to feed himself as much as he can! He is an eating machine and will eat and eat and eat and is not too picky at all! :) Oh, and he dances to Elmo singing ABC's... it is really funny!
