39 week appointment

I just got back from my 39 week appointment. Nothing major to report. I am 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. She said his head is very engaged and not going anywhere... he could come anytime! It is still just a waiting game. The doctor "stripped my membranes" more. She is on this weekend at the hospital, but then she goes out of town all week next week!!! Sooooo... IF I do not go into labor this weekend I am going to see another doctor on Tuesday which is my actual due date. She said she has no good reason to induce me at this time. She said that it could just slow things down if I am induced and if my body is not ready then it could just end in me having a c-section. So she wants me to wait and see what happens on its own first. Since she is out of town next week, she would induce me Monday, the 24-- but she really thinks he will come before that. We will see. Jayden really likes it in there it seems. I have been having contractions, but they are still inconsistent...
