I turned 25! I had a great birthday on October 12. Jared and I had Applebees Carside To Go for dinner. My mom had flowers delivered to my school. I had a nice day with my kids at school followed by a nice evening at home with my boys!
Thanks, Mom! The flowers were beautiful! They lasted a long time, too! I just threw them away on Friday!!
Jayden helped my blow out my birthday candles. We celebrated with my family the weekend after my birthday. This cake was so good... Ukrop's chocolate cake. yummm!
Jayden played rummy for the first time!
We also went to Maymont Park with my family. (pictures to come soon - no time now!)
and we went to Olive Garden! This was Jayden's first time at a restaurant and he did great!
Jayden had a great time with Nana one week, Daddy one week, and Grammie one week. He is now 9 weeks old and is going to start Daycare tomorrow. It is going to be a sad day for mommy.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Jayden had his 2 month well-visit at the pediatrician. He is doing great! Here are is stats:
11 pounds 13 ounces (50%)
23 1/4 inches long (60%)
38 1/2 cm head (20%)
He had 5 immunizations (3 were shots) and Jared took him all by himself since I had to work. Jared is such a good daddy!!! Jayden did very well, too. He screamed right after then he was okay. His doctor says he is doing great. She even said he seems like he will be an early walker and talker considering all of his noises and how strong he is. He tore up all the paper on the table!
Two months...
-Jayden gets "real baths" in his baby tub
-smiles all the time at mommy and daddy (first smile 5 1/2 weeks)
-likes to stick out his tongue and play with his spit bubbles
-makes all kinds of cute noises
-holds his head up and is very strong
-wears size 1 diapers
-now likes to sleep in his swing
-lost a lot of hair
-eats 4-5 ounces/feeding
-has to burp a LOT!
-loves Target- haha seriously, he does!
-loves to look at lights
-uses his binky to fall asleep and calm him down
He's a cutie! :)
I can't believe Jayden is 2 months old!!! Happy 2 month birthday, stinker!
p.s. Pray for Jayden tomorrow as he starts daycare. Actually, he will be fine. Pray for me! :)

Jayden will have a blast meeting new friends tomorrow! Try not to worry about him - he will be in good hands. I will be thinking about both of you.
I laughed out loud that Jayden likes Target! So funny!!!
And I had a flashback when I saw the picture of you blowing out your birthday candles. I remember holding you and helping you blow out the candles on your first birthday cake....that milestone will be here before we know it for Jayden. Can't believe you are 25! Can't believe he is two months old already!!! Time flies!
Continue to enjoy each day with him. Glad he is bringing you, Jared, and the entire family so much joy and happiness.

I almost forgot the funniest thing --- Jayden playing rummy. That's right! Start him young. You know how competitive we all are at cards.
