Daycare

We survived the first day of daycare yesterday. Jared and I dropped him off together in the morning. It was sad, but I did not cry. I guess I have been preparing for it for so long now. His teachers are very nice and helped assure us that everything would be fine! :)

I called around noon to check on him and they said he was fine, but he had a little bit of a "rough" morning. Poor Jayden is a very gassy baby. He has been since he was born. We always have to burp him so much- like after every ounce. He gets very fussy if he is trying to go to the bathroom, too. Anyway, Jayden was having a hard time going to the bathroom, but once he finally pooped, he was all smiles! :)

Today, I am home sick. I actually do not feel horrible, but I have been fighting this cold ever since going back to the germ-filled school. It started as just a runny nose, sore throat, typical cold. Then, I had an on/off low fever. The over the counter medicines just are not working for me. I have a really nasty cough now so it was time to get to the doctor for some antibiotics. The doctor said I have a sinus infection and gave me some antibiotics and some cough medincine, too. So, I am home resting. I do not want Jayden to get what I have so we are going to be EXTRA careful around here! I might even wear a mask!

I just called daycare to check on Jayden and they said he is doing just fine. He was getting his picture taken when I called! Isn't that adorable? Today is picture day! The background is really cute. Wonder how much they charge for that?!?!!? haha I am sure they will be cute, though. The teacher I talked to said they took the babies down earlier, but while four of the babies went first Jayden and Emily (another baby) fell asleep. So they let them sleep and took Jayden and Emily down after they woke up. Emily is just a couple months older than Jayden. She is the daughter of one of the teachers I work with at my school! :)

I better go rest. Even though I do not feel HORRIBLE I do not feel great and I need to rest. :)
