As you know, December is my favorite month of the year. It is just a special month and happy time of the year. In December 1998, Jared and I went on our first date to our high school 9th grade Christmas Dance. In December 2004, Jared proposed to me under a mistletoe in front of a Christmas tree. In December 2006, we were married in a church filled with poinsettias and lots of holiday decorations just two days before Christmas. In December 2008, we found out the most exciting news that we were going to have a baby. Our lives have been very blessed!
2010 was a great year. Jared and I have a sweet, happy, healthy little boy, we both have two jobs that we love, we have wonderful family and friends, a good dog, good health and happiness! 2010 was special because it was full of firsts... We got to celebrate so many milestones with Jayden. We traveled to the beach and New York City. And we bought our first house! Of course, the month of December was amazing. I love getting out the Christmas decorations and it was so much fun having our home to decorate this year. Before I recap the month and holiday festivities of December, I have a very special and exciting announcement! Jayden is going to be a big brother! :)
We found out at the end of November, but it was December that we had our first ultrasound where we got to see the baby's heart beating. I am due August 14, just 6 days before Jayden's second birthday. We are beyond excited and very happy. However, I have been so sick. Most days, I feel so nausiated that I can't even lift my head up. It has been a very good thing that I am was on winter break, but sadly, that break ends today. Tomorrow I go back to work. Hopefully, I can make it without throwing up in front of my class. :/
This is a very bad picture, but it was taken the day we found out. The test clearly said, "Pregnant" ... YAY!
Here are two of the very first pictures of our little peanut. He/she really does look like a peanut here. haha (7 weeks)
We will keep you posted on how things are going, but please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy.
Oh, one more thing... Happy 4 year Anniversary, Jared. I love you so much and look forward to many more years with you, Jayden, and our little peanut. :) xoxo

I will recap holiday festivities in my next post.
