37 week appointment

Today I had my 37 week appointment. The past few times I have gone, I have had to wait sooo long (like almost 2 hours!!!) so I went in today anticipating having to wait forever. We sat down in the waiting room and not even 5 minutes later, I was called back! yay! It was so NICE not having to wait! It works out perfectly that Jared has off work every Wednesday and all of my appointments are on Wednesdays. So he went with me!

There was good news and not-so-good news. The not-so-good news is that there was blood in my urine. I have not had any bleeding or anything, but at every appointment you have to pee in a cup and they check it. This may indicate another bladder infection, or, another kidney infection or kidney stone. When I was about 30-31 weeks pregnant, I had a kidney stone and was in the hospital for almost 4 days. My Dr. did not put me on an antibiotic yet-- they are doing a further urine culture and she is going to call me when they get the results. If it shows an infection then I will have to take an antibiotic. She also said if they find traces of blood in my urine after Jayden is born then I may need to see a urologist.

The good news is my blood pressure was still great, my ankels are not swollen, and I am starting to make some progress! I am one centimeter dilated and over 50% efaced. She emphasized the OVER. haha Obviously, this does not mean all that much, but it is exciting that things are happening! :) His head is still down. Now I am excited for next week to see if anything else changes. I keep saying I hope he comes 1 week early, but even if he doesn't it won't be more than 3 weeks!!! so crazy!!! And so exciting!!!

Tonight was our last class. It was a breastfeeding class and it was really good. It was for mothers and also the fathers.

That's about all for now as far as pregnancy updates. I have a dentist appointment on Friday morning then I get to spend the weekend visitng family from Texas. We can't wait to play lots of games.... AND MEET BABY JACOB!!!!! :) I will post about that later because I am sure I will have plenty of pictures!
