Yesterday afternoon, we saw the doctor! I had to get an exam, lots of blood drawn, and we had another ultrasound. I am really glad that my blood pressure was good and everything looks great so far! The doctor measured the baby at exactly 9 weeks 1 day, which is exactly where I was supposed to be yesterday. So that was good! The most exciting part is that we got to see and hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. It was really neat and right in the normal range! :) We even saw the baby moving on the screen!! One of the techs in the room commented that our baby looked like it was doing the Macarena! haha
Well, I know this is a quick update, but I have to get ready for work! I did not have time to post last night because we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop on the way back to Fredericksburg and I was too tired by the time I got home to do anything!
Keep us in your prayers that everything continues to progress as it should.... We are so happy and excited!!!

awwww, yay! so exciting! I remember laying on the bed and hearing the heartbeat for the first time...I just teared up thinking, omg...what a miracle inside of me!

That is so cool...A real exciting time for you guys. You will have to subscribe to the weekly update veg/fruit report that Deb & I belong to. I forget the name, but it is wierd how every week the baby is grown and they tell you what is growing etc. Shoot Deb a line. Take care, Love, Uncle Jim
Cindy!! That is so exciting! I can't believe he is that big already!! (I say he because I want the baby to be a boy :) ) You guys are going to be such great parents!! Be sure to keep updating the blog so we can hear the latest :)
PS Let's hope the baby doesn't have Jared's dancing genes if it's doing the macarena :P Just kidding!!
