Our Second Anniversary

On Tuesday, December 23, Jared and I will celebrate our second anniversary! It is hard to believe it was two years ago that we got married. Time really does fly by! Looking back on the pictures, it makes me remember how special our wedding day was. I seriously have hundreds and hundreds of pictures, but I am going to post some of the highlights/favorites...

If you didn't hear the story of the mistletoe at our wedding... here it is again:

Our first date was our 9th grade Chritsmas dance in December of '98. While we were dancing, one of our friends put a mistletoe above us and that is when we had our first kiss. When Jared proposed to me in December of '04, he did it under a mistletoe! I saved the mistletoe and that is the same "brownish" mistletoe we shared our first dance under at our wedding reception. My mom bought some new mistletoe, too, to blend in with the old brown stuff! haha

And who could forget our gorgeous wedding cake-- that tasted delicious! I wish I had some of that right about now!

This picture includes all of us from my mom's side of the family.... Yes, this was taken outside and it was 2 days befor Christmas, but 70 degrees!!!! Crazy!!!!
