so much to update!

We sure do have a lot to update on this blog. So much has happened recently and I have not updated any of it on here! I actually don’t even know where to start. Let’s see… I wil start with some BIG news!!!

Jared was promoted to a STL (Store Team Leader) of Target! He was offered to remain at his current store location, which means it was finally time to buy a house. We have been living in an apartment for years now, but have been waiting patiently for our time to buy a house. Jared has always been into internet searching houses and cars. I mean, when I get the computer, I am checking email, or facebook, or my blog. Not Jared. He never checks email (with the exception of work email!), refuses to get a facebook account, or blog. Any time he has the computer, he prefers to search houses and cars, or to look up fishing docks. Haha

My point is house searching switched into full gear. We found an awesome realtor who took us to several houses. When we saw this one on the listing, we knew we had to see it. We fell in love with it and knew it was the perfect house for us. It has EVERYTHING we wanted (and more!!) We put an offer on it and it and now it is ours…… WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This house is in F'burg about 10 minutes from where we are now. It is 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, living room, office, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, garage, LOTS of big closets, garage, unfinished basement, wrap around front porch, huge back deck w/ gazebo tent, stone patio under deck, nice fenced in back yard for Fred, swingset for Jayden, cement driveway, CUL-DE-SAC, nice neighborhood, and so much more. It has so many nice touches to it… Like lights on the stairs of the deck, alarm system, beautiful landscaping, crown molding, picture molding, nice windows…

We are beyond lucky to have found this house. It seriously had EVERY single thing on our “Must Have” “Would Like to Have” and “BONUS” Lists we made when searching for a house. We can’t find anything we don’t like about it. Of course, there are things we want to do and we have so many plans for this house!!!
Yes, this all happened so fast! We could not be happier! We close at the end of June. Perfect! I will be on summer break and we can take our time painting, cleaning, and taking stuff over bits at a time since we have our apartment until August.

The family we are buying the house from built it in 2004 and have taken such great care of the house. There is so much more I could say, but here are some pictures. The first two are pictures of the 3 of us in front of the house, then you will see pictures from the listing.
