It's a.............

BOY!!! YAY! We are beyond thrilled to find out it is a boy! What an exciting day! So I have several things to post about...

First, the day before my ultrasound, I had so much fun with my class (as I do every day!). I had them make a prediction of what they thought the baby was. It was really funny to watch all the boys vote boy and all the girls vote girl. (well, except for 2 boys picked girl! ha!) I have 14 boys and 9 girls, so of course, boy won! The graph was cute and we hung it up outside the classroom door. I give my kids a writing prompt every day and that day I had them write about if they thought boy or girl and what the name should be! Some of the names were really funny! I just love my class... they crack me up! :)

Jared and I have been so excited/anxious/nervous about this appointment. Obviously, all that truly matters is that we have a happy, healthy baby with all of it's "parts." We just wanted to see and hear that everything was growing and developing as it is supposed to. The icing on the cake was finding out the sex!!! We had the ultrasound first. They were able to tell us right away, "It's a little boy!"

Everything appears to be great! Everything measured the way it should. I am right on track for the August 18 due date. The baby had all of his parts. It was amazing to see the chambers of the heart, brains, organs, etc. They measured every limb and all looks good! :)

Looking back at previous ultrasounds, I can't believe how much he has grown already! Let's see....

Here is the dot we saw at 5 weeks. :)

Here he is at 9 weeks.

Here are the 19 week pictures of our baby!!!!!

There's no mistaking....... it is a BOY! haha

So, the other big news is he has a name now! Jared and I have both our boy and girl names picked out. We will just have to save the girl name for when we get our girl! :) His name is Jayden Brady Barsanti. We are obsessed with his name. We picked out the names before we even found out we were pregnant. Now, everything just feels so much more "real" now that we call him Jayden and not "it" or "baby" - we are so excited!!!

We also already have his nursery bedding picked out! And Nana and Pop Pop (my parents) bought the bedding set for Jayden yesterday!!!!!! This is what it looks like...

It is called "Country Side" and it looks like a little barn of farm animals!!! :) Thank you, Nana and Pop Pop! Jayden will love it, too!

So, after the ultrasound, we went shopping!!! Jayden is spoiled already! We went to Babies R Us and did our registry, too! We were planning to go to Target yesterday, too, but we were TOO tired and overwhelmed so we are going to save Target registering for another day!

Buttttttttt, we did get to pick up the furniture!!!! It is all there except for the armoire, which could take a long time! (long story, another post) So, we rented a truck and drove it to Fredericksburg! :) Jared is actually working on it now. Can't you tell we are excited?!?!

I know I am probably forgetting a million things, but that is enough for now! We really are blessed! Thank you to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers... and for all the nice comments during this exciting time!!!!!!
