Christmas w/ Grammie and Uncle Jordan

This Christmas is going to be so special for us. Not only is it Jayden's first Christmas, but we are also welcoming another Barsanti any time now! Rachel is due on the 17th and we are very excited to have another nephew!!! His name is going to be Brandon!

Since Jared's mom, AKA Grammie, will be in Florida for Christmas to meet her newest grandbaby, we celebrated with her yesterday. Grammie and Jordan came and hung out with us. We also went out to dinner and had Christmas!

We had such a nice visit. Thanks for coming to see us and THANK YOU for all the generous and thoughtful gifts. I love my perfumes!!! Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. :)

Jayden's first snowfall!!!!

When the weather forecast called for snow this weekend, we decided last night we better give Jayden one of his Christmas presents early (just in case!)....

Anyway, back to the Christmas gift... a new hat and mittens!!!








And it's a good thing we did!

It snowed today! I got Jayden all bundled up in his bear suit.......


and we went outside in the snow!!!

Jared was at work all day, so it was hard for me to get a picture of all of jayden with the snow in the background!!!




Jayden enjoyed his FIRST snow!! It is so pretty outside! I will take more pictures when Jared comes home! :)

I only caught the end of it on camera as the laugh was winding down, but Jayden was really laughing tonight with Jared. Jayden is very ticklish on his neck and Jared was making him laugh for about 5 minutes before I came in to catch it on camera. It was so funny to watch them!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We had a great one (besides fighting being sick)... We have so much to be thankful for! Thanks, Whitfield family, for having us to your house on Thanksgiving Day! We missed those of you who weren't with us this year!

I still wanted you guys to see the roll-over so I video taped the video camera. hahaha It is a VERY bad video recording, but you can see it... Go Jayden!!!

Rolling Over!!!

Jayden does tummy time every day at Daycare. On Monday (13 weeks), his teachers told me that he ROLLED OVER for the first time. I was so happy, but also sad that this happened at daycare instead of at home with me!!! They said they thought it may have just been a fluke thing the first time it happened, but then he did it again, and again! I had to see this for myself! However, we really have not had him on his tummy too much since we went to Richmond for Thanksgiving. We came home today because Jared had to go to work and I decided tonight I was going to see if Jayden could really roll over. I wanted to be video taping it in case he did it so Jared could see it, too! Sure enough, he did it!! I was so proud of him!!! I was also happy that I caught this on our video camera! So after catching it on the video camera, I thought I would try to catch it on my regular camera that takes video clips so I could post it on my blog. This is what happened...........



Jayden really does not spit up too much... he never really has... but every once in a while, he spits up a lot!!! haha as you saw in that video!
